  Quirky restaurant, slow service without air conditioning. A good variety of typical American restaurant fare, but don't come on a warm summer day! The staff was friendly, but it seemed like they were a few servers short. Update: we went back for breakfast and they only had one server for the whole restaurant. It took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee.

  Used to frequent this place and always thought it was one of the better restaurants in the area. It was...'was' being the functional word.
  
  It seems that some time around the summer of 2016 things changed. Maybe they got a new chef. Maybe they got a 'visit from corporate' or maybe I've just had the worst possible timing on more than 5 occasions.
  
  I used to think their hummus appetizer plate was incredible. But now the hummus is significantly different, as if they changed their recipe completely. They also about halved the portion of hummus they give you. Used to be that you'd get to dip each and every last vegetable into its own little hummus-bath, but now you have to really plan it out and even then you'll run out before you're half way through the carrots. I've noticed this is now the norm.
  
  I moved on to something else hoping for a better result. Nope. I ordered a burger (not cheap, by the way) and paid for the sweet potato fries (another upcharge). I got it to go and when arriving home I opened up the styrofoam box to find ten small fries. No, unfortunately I'm not kidding. Yes, I know I don't 'need' more than ten. But really? Ten small fries for an extra charge? Sad.
  
  Again, I think something changed. It was always like this. I'm thinking maybe an accountant took over the kitchen...
  
  I won't be going back for a while.
  
  I will say, however, the service is very good! Always extremely friendly and courteous.
